

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s childhood coach Jwala Singh said that the cricketer has never sold Panipuri for his living and denied the claims on media about the youngster selling Panipuri during his junior days though he had financial troubles. The left-handed youngster made an impressive debut for India in test cricket and is likely to make his debut in T20 cricket against the Men in Maroon on Thursday.
Yashasvi Jaiswal made it into the Indian team following a terrific IPL season with the Rajasthan Royals and a domestic season with Mumbai. The Left-handed opener displayed excellent composure, as the youngster showed a lot of grit and determination to score his maiden century in International cricket followed by a half-century in the 2nd test.

Whenever the youngster performs well in cricket, a photo of him selling Panipuri surfaces on social media of him coming from a very humble background.
Speaking to the media about the Photo, Yashavi Jaiswal’s coach Jwala Singh denied the claims youngster selling Panipuri for a living after he started his training with him in Mumbai and reckons that media use those images as it makes good headlines admitting that he had few struggles coming up in his earlier days and revealed that he took care of him after 2013.
“I have always said that Yashasvi never sold Panipuri for a living, I have also said this in many media houses. Ever since he started cricket training with me in 2013, he has never sold Panipuri.
“It makes for a good headline but it has only 5% of truth in this. When he first came to Mumbai and was living in a tent, might have done it just for a few days. He did not have basic amenities, no electricity, proper food, and his tent used to be filled with water during the monsoon season.
“At times he did assist a few hawkers as he was just a kid and in return earned small amounts from them, but all of these things stopped once I started his cricket training and took him under my wings,” Jwala Singh said.

Yashasvi Jaiswal has been the standout performer for Rajasthan Royals in the recently concluded Indian Premier League and impressed everyone which his fearless approach to batting at the top of the order.
The left-handed opener has scored 625 runs in 14 matches at an average of 48.08 and has hit five half-centuries and one century in the season. He was also named the Emerging Player of the Season and can be a key player for India in all three formats going forward.
