Rohit Sharma could not bring the best out of their players since he took up the mantle from ace batter Virat Kohli, as he failed to win a major trophy in the last two years for the Indian team, and his team selection and backing of the players, where also not well received by the cricket experts and fans.

In the WTC final in 2023, he scored only 58 runs in the game, failing to inspire to team to win the ICC trophy. In the 2022 T20 World Cup, He had a campaign to forget in Australia as captain in six matches, he scored 116 runs at an average of 19.33 and a strike rate of 106.42, and the Indian veteran batter will be looking to inspire the Men’s in Blue winning the championship in the home soil later this year.
